“Another Sunday sitting in Worship, and I’m dying inside from the shame of being hungover again.”

Hi, I’m Amy Edwards, a Certified This Naked Mind Coach & a Certified Mental Health Coach, and I know just how you feel!

I’ve been in your shoes and I KNOW it sounds crazy, but you too can take back control of your life and make alcohol small and irrelevant! And get realigned in all your relationships.

Are you sitting in worship every Sunday hungover?

  • Are you feeling conflicted about your relationship with God and your drinking habit? Do you feel stuck in the cycle of guilt/shame & long for grace and growth?

  • Do you think you might be drinking too much? But you’re not drinking any more than your family, friends, and colleagues. Are you a woman trying to balance working hard, volunteering, taking care of your teens, and realizing you need a drink to help you get through all of it?

  • Are you wanting control over your drinking habit but just don’t know how to do it or where to start? Do you promise yourself that you won’t have a drink tonight but find yourself in the liquor aisle purchasing a bottle of wine on your way home from work?

  • I’ve been where you are right now and I put together my own guide for taking a break from alcohol. My husband joined me on this journey nine months later. I want to share with you the tips, tactics, and resources that helped us when we each took a break from alcohol! What if I told you you are not alone?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, you are in very good company! I’m Amy and like you, I was a “normal” drinker for about 20 years until I wasn’t. One day in my mid-40s, I woke up and realized that I was drinking a lot more than I wanted. I just never could go more than a few days without drinking. I would overindulge, feel horrible, swear off drinking for a day or two, or even a few weeks, only to drink again and start the whole process over. This pattern lasted for about ten years. Let me tell you, I never had a rock bottom, so in my mind, I didn’t have a problem.

I finally decided that I needed to take back my life and examine my relationship with alcohol, and I did this at the start of the Pandemic. I knew I couldn’t continue my current drinking habit going into it. So I started my journey at the end of March 2020. A process of self-discovery started by taking a break from alcohol for 21 days and ended with me becoming a certified This Naked Mind Certified Life Coach in October of 2021.

I love my life now! Personally, coaching propelled me forward with my goals. When I took a break from alcohol I started achieving more of what I wanted in life. Let’s schedule a time to see how I can help you with your goals around alcohol.

What’s A Life Coach?

What’s a life coach? A life coach is a wellness professional who works with their clients, helping them move forward in their lives by examining beliefs, habits, and emotions—providing them strategies and tactics to attain greater fulfillment in their lives.

I want to take what I have learned and give back to other women by helping them examine their beliefs and habits around alcohol. My experience is that when you take a break from alcohol, you will see the most personal growth in your life.

I discovered real freedom when I quit drinking, and I’m now my authentic self. I know what you are experiencing first hand, the self-doubt and the wondering why can’t I drink like everyone else? I am here to help you take a closer look at what you are experiencing. Let’s set up a discovery call and talk about your goals around alcohol.
