it’s No-vember.

This November, I'm doing a workout calendar. It includes cardio, strength, and yoga workouts. When I do these workouts, I usually skip the yoga. But, today, I did Meditation Yoga. Just what I needed. I was feeling movement, feeling how my body feels in positions. I am so relaxed and focused right now.

I told myself a story because I wasn't flexible; I thought I couldn't do yoga. This story came from somewhere in my past. Today, I mentally walked and worked on this story. I challenged it. Why do I think this? Is this thought true? As I made the moves, the instructor said to choose the best position for your body. Then, repeat the motions. He continues, your body is learning and getting more comfortable each time it repeats the moves. There is no right way.

When I did the 30-Day Alcohol Experiment, I was learning all new information. Each day, I would learn new information and build on the previous day's work. Of course, there was discomfort, but the more I leaned in and learned, the more comfortable I got. The knowledge I gained was incredible and outweighed any discomfort!

There is no right way or wrong way to do a yoga pose, and there is no right way or wrong way to take a break from alcohol—just have curiosity about your habits and thoughts.

Have you thought about taking a break from alcohol? We are coming up on the holiday season, and that is stressful! We overindulge on everything! If you would like some coaching to help you through the holiday season, please reach out. Right now, I'm offering a limited number of free coaching spots. Schedule a 30-minute discovery call, and let's see if we should work together.
